2. What data we collect
- Account & order data: name, e-mail, billing/shipping address, phone number, order history.
- Payment data: payments are processed by our payment providers (Shipmondo Payments and PayPal). We do not store your full card details on our servers; we only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded.
- Interaction data (personalisation): with your consent, we record which products you view, add to or remove from the cart, and purchase, in order to show you a more relevant front page. This is stored against a first-party identifier and, if you are logged in, your account.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and approximate country (via MaxMind geolocation) used to show prices in the correct currency (DKK or EUR) and for security.

3. Purposes and legal bases
- Processing and delivering your orders and handling returns — performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- Personalising the products shown to you — your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Accounting, tax and other legal obligations — legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
- Preventing fraud and securing the website — legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Recipients
We share data only as necessary with: Shipmondo (shipping and payments), PayPal (payments), MaxMind (geolocation lookup), and our hosting provider AzeHosting ApS. Each acts as a processor or independent controller under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
Order and accounting data are kept for as long as required by Danish bookkeeping law (currently 5 years from the end of the financial year). Personalisation data is kept for up to 12 months and is deleted if you withdraw consent or delete your account.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any right, contact us at niels@favetronics.dk. 7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy, and we ask for your consent for non-essential (statistics/personalisation) cookies via our consent banner. We honour “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control browser signals.
